Privacy Policy

The short version

ddeploy runs entirely on your Mac. It has no account, no analytics, no telemetry and no ads. We never see what is on your disk.

What the app sends

Three optional network calls, all to services you can see: the Sparkle update check to ddeploy.com (sends the app version and macOS version, nothing else), license activation and deactivation to Dodo Payments (sends your license key and a random device identifier), and the download counter and reviews on this website, which are public GitHub data.

What we store

Nothing on our side. Dodo Payments keeps your purchase record (email, country, payment method) under its own privacy policy at dodopayments.com/legal/privacy-policy. We can see your email and order there to help with support.

This website

Hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log your IP address as part of serving the page. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser and stores nothing that identifies you. No other trackers.

Ask AI button

If you use the optional "Is this safe? Ask AI" button, the app opens Claude or ChatGPT in your browser with a question about a folder name and size. Nothing is sent until you press send there, and it goes to that provider, not to us.

Your rights

Email hello@ddeploy.com to ask what we hold about you (usually only your Dodo order) or to have it deleted. We reply within two working days.
